Trickle down economics

As my work is involved in supporting Welsh companies to start or expand, I'm very aware of the state of the economy.

"Dominated by decades of short term profit taking, decline in investment and productivity, infrastructure deteriorating, household debts up, low wages etc" this is not my opinion but is a report from the commission on Economic Justice

London’s wealth is based on ‘trickle down economics’, which is itself based on accepting inward investment from all around the world. This includes the ‘DIRTIEST’ money imaginable. The hypocrisy of the UK government, and their pretence that UK operates a clean financial position is only believed by those in the UK. The rest of the world see us for what we are, a home for the money obtained from the worst excesses of globalisation.

As I canvass I am becoming more concerned that Brexit will increase the number of holiday homes in Gower. If we leave the EU, then many people will be tempted to buy local houses as holiday homes instead of Spain etc. 40% of house sales in Gwynedd are for second homes. We need to avoid that in Gower and we need legal protection which is quite normal in the Lake District, Cornwall, Catalonia and New Zealand.

The Tories are spending loads of money in this election. They even admit that they look after the richest 5% first because this group gives lots of money to the Tory party.
The number of people earning £1m or above has surged by 25%.  One-third of them live in London.  Percentage living in Gower? 0%
